Michelle Willard
Director, Employee Benefits
Michelle Willard is the Director of Employee Benefits at Knight Insurance. Michelle began her career in insurance consulting and benefits management, building a reputation for operational excellence and team development. She is a seasoned executive with more than 34 years of experience in employee benefits, strategic consulting, and service leadership. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to delivering client-focused solutions, driving cost-containment strategies, and mentoring high-performing teams. Michelle’s expertise spans across self-funding, pharmacy benefits management, and captive insurance solutions. She is passionate about using data analytics to improve outcomes for clients and aligning solutions with long-term organizational goals. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Michelle is a committed community leader. She has served for a decade on the board of the Northwest Ohio Human Resource Association (NOHRA). Michelle holds a Leadership Skills Certificate from the University of Toledo and is a licensed Life, Health, and Annuity Insurance professional. Originally from Sylvania, Michelle now resides in Delta, Ohio. She enjoys being outdoors; biking, hiking, fishing, camping, and traveling to beaches in the winter.
