Ownership

Knight Insurance Group is an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).  As an employee, you earn shares in the agency AT NO COST TO YOU.  Shares are allocated based upon your years of service and salary.  Each year, shares are deposited into your Ownership Fund. As an owner of the agency, you share in the value of the agency.  As it grows and the stock price increases, your fund balance increases.  The ESOP structure is “perpetual perpetuation” ensuring consistent ownership over time. 

Knight Insurance Group is the only employee-owned agency in the region.

Knight Insurance had a very welcoming and informative onboarding process.  When I started, I was paired up for short periods of time with each department. Each department had a very specific outline laid out to review; what their job duties are, the procedures and processes they follow on a daily basis, and how to use Epic/CSR24/Indio for their job role. Each person took the time to explain from their perspective what the day consists of. Knight also put together small groups to spend time with/and get to know the people you would be interacting with on a personal level. The whole approach made me feel welcomed, informed, and like I had a great support system!
